No because if your missing some parts of a diet, like nutrients and vitamins etc, they wouldn't tell you to punch up the amounts of **** you eat, they'd tell you to take suppliments if your happy with your diet! -- Sam Sent from the iOS App Facebook.com/sammskii999

Would you prefer to be on insulin injections or on a pump?

Re: Would you prefer to be on insulin injections or on a pum I have always preferred to be on injections rather than pump, more flexibility with the injections. I suppose both have their pro's & con's but I am an "injecy" -- Sam Sent from the iOS App Facebook.com/sammskii999

A sliding scale is when I have even in Hospital with DKA. You obviously have saleene fluids. The sliding scale is hourly / bi-hourly BG tests and then the nurse will change the dosage of insulin. It's the slow and safe way of bringing te high BG level down. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Reusing needles

Hey Anne, I personally use new lancets every time because of the difference of dirt and residue on your hands. As for insulin needles I personally stick to 6 hours. If you spray your insulin (only 4 units tops) and count how long it takes to dry, minus an hour to play it safe. That's what I...
