Hi, I don't mean to butt in but I have had 3 children and am a type 1 diabetic. My consultants advised me to have my blood sugars perfect (between 4.0 and 7.0 with 5.4 and lower being the optimum) for 3 months before attempting pregnancy. The mmol of non-diabetics

Yes all non diabetics have glucose spikes, the difference is that their bodies deal with it for them. Moving to 4mm needles

I am also very skinny, I have the 4mm but prefer the 5-8mm needles. I find the 4mm needles bruise me quite badly. I have been injecting for over 23yrs though, so can only assume its because my skin has toughened and I need the longer ones to get through.
