    Yes the insulin taken in the right doses will lower blood sugar levels. It's a bit of a balancing act, and might take some settling in time but everyone is different. The high bs you've mentioned although they are high and long term that could be bad, but for now they don't sound to dangerous...

    Yes I try to stick to a low carb diet sometimes it's hard what with a busy family life. I think that as a mum we often put ourselves last on the looking after list
