    Just before I had my gall bladder removed, I got Pancretidous. (Not sure of the spelling) I got it because a large stone passed by the pancrease and it flared up. The pancrease does what? Last I checked it produces insulin !!!

    On tablets any way to reduce sugars?

    I dont understand how excercise can increase sugar levels. It always brings mine down. A good run, bike ride or anything strenious drops mine. I figure , increased heart rate, more blood pumping, the system uses up the sugar in your blood stream.

    remember the flu shot, everybody!

    Never had a flu shot. ever! I dont get sick that often. I am not convinced that a flu shot helps anything and know a lot of people that get the flu shot and still get sick. So its no shot for me!!!

    How often do you test, which meter do you use?

    I test 5-6 times per day, so it becomes very expensive. The metors are free, but the stips are $1.00 each. A bit of a rip off I would say. I bought a metor and strips off ebay. Works out to .17 cents each. Much cheaper. Dont know how accurate the metor is. It reads in a different scale than...

    Had my gall blader removed over 10 years ago. 5 years after that I got gall stones again. Now I have type 2 diabetes. I think there is a link to this.

    How did you feel about switching onto injections?

    My numbers were always high. high teens and into the 20's at times. meds no longer worked. I am on Lantus at night and humolog before meals. numbers dropped big time. H1AC went from 10.3 to 7.1 in 2 months. Best thing ever going to the needle.
