    Annual blood test and diabetes checks still happening?

    No. Mine was due march. No contact at all from doctors. Also awaiting a follow up eye appt at hospital but I expected that to be delayed

    Metformin & alcohol

    My diabetic nurse said it was ok to have a few drinks when on metformin. You may feel a bit more hungover than usual. She advised the next day to drink lots of water and a walk to feel better!

    How long should I wait / endure

    I've just had a week of 1x500 tablet and now on 2 x 500. I take one at breakfast and one at evening meal.I take it almost 3/4 through the meal was advised to always eat before taking them. I hope it settles down quickly for you. I felt a bit sick to start with but this has now past.
