Told I don't need to monitor my levels
I was the same for 3 years I was controlling it by diet alone so there was no need for a meter, recently I started glyclazide and was given a meter to monitor my levels so yes you should be given one

My reading was 3.6 after weightlifting? Is this really bad or perfectly normal?

I was on that and gave me terrible diarrhoea! No headaches though, I'm now on glyclazide which is so much better
