hey guys I was thinking about Novomix its 70 % basal and 30% rapid what does that means does it means if I inject 18 units that 18 units contain 12.6 basal and 5.4 rapid-acting insulin i hope someone knowledgeable enough enlighten me

Hi all, any advice on doses of tresiba would be great. I am on lantus but changing on Tuesday. I take 27u at the moment but believe the new insulin works for circa 48hrs. Does this require a different type of does or time of day to take it? Thanks Keith
