Hi all
I’m new to the forum but not newly diagnosed. Initially type 2 but now awaiting both lada and mody testing. My diabetes has been really hard to control - my doctors have struggled to understand it, up and down like a yo-yo so currently waiting the referral to an Endo. I’m in Scotland...
I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with Hypo alert dogs, specifically in the UK. I'm Type 1 since 2005, and my sugar is fairly well controlled but i have developed severe anxiety regarding low/high readings, to the point that I will have panic attacks if my blood seems to be...
Hello there,
I read, while researching, that if someone has a hypo while asleep and they don't wake up, that they may know they had a hypo because of damp sheets etc.
Does that mean that the person's blood sugar levels corrected themselves in the night? What stopped them going lower? If they...
hi! I’ve recently started on the omnipod and as much as I love it I’ve been finding I’m not feeling myself dropping low very often
If I do drop I either don’t feel it or I don’t feel it until I’m incredibly low
Did anyone else feel this when they changed pumps? Any tips?
Thanks!

my last HBA1c came out at 36 - very pleased with the drop as I had increased my daily steps to a minimum of 10000
The Doctor wants me to stay on Metformin but I am not happy with that as I monitor my sugar daily
Should I stop Metformin for the next test in July and see what effect it has on...
Hi all,
I am trying to get my mum to eat healthily and bring her sugar level down. Her sugar level is always over 10 (no more than 13) before meals. The only time I ever see her sugar level between 4 and 7 is after her gym session in the morning.
Her diet is quite simple, she mainly has...
Hi, the past couple of times that my sugars have gone low enough to cause me to faint, for a few minutes before, I notice my hearing goes completely. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. It never happened to me when I was younger. I have good hypo awareness, but this symptom...
