long term diabetic

I've been Type 2 since I was 27. I'm now 62. Problem is my pancreas no longer produces insulin based on my peptide results. My insurance now classifies me as Type 1 which is good. They now pay for an insulin pump and CGM. (US resident. Private insurance) Does anyone else fall into this category...
