slow release dosage timing advice

Hi! I Wonder if people could help as I’m confused. Meant to be taking 2 x 500 ... but I’m sure one nurse said to take it together in the night... and another nurse said to take one in the night and one in the morning? .... what have other people done found most affective? .... and how long do...
