Some of us have a short eating window most of the time. I don't eat late and although sometimes eat in the night. I find it works for me. I have never eaten late except on a late shift, ( many years ago)then had a very small meal. It helps with intermittent fasting.I'm late to this thread, and haven't read it all (1,300 posts!) but
I'm unsure as to what the specific point is of not eating after an
arbitrary time such as 7PM.
I normally don't eat within about 3 hours, give or take, before bed
time. But that's dependent on when I go to bed—of course. So
I might have dinner at 7PM or 10PM or even later if I'm staying up
into the wee hours, as I often do.
Why was 7PM suggested? And I'm surprised that some people here
are (apparently) having last their evening meal at 4PM or 5PM.
