Hi. I inject humalog 75/25 premixed insulin twice daily. What I'd like to know is why when I'm hungry, my sugars can be high in the blood. I often wondered about that but only asked now.. Cheers Kevin..

Could you clarify, please. Your OP states 1.5 but the info under your avatar states Type 2.

I too feel hungry when my BG is high.
I have put this down to my body not being able to get the energy it needs from my food because I have in sufficient insulin to convert the carbs.
This is not a scientific explanation; just a personal theory.
