16 Month Old Newly Diagnosed

Just saying hello really! My youngest was diagnosed last month, her Daddy is also a type 1. Still getting to grips with everything although I'm thankful I already knew a fair bit from OH before she was diagnosed. Back to school for my eldest tomorrow (starting year one ) and logistics of school morning is giving me a headache lol

Generally, this is a very supportive group and I'm sure that other parents with young children will be around at some point.

There are a number of parents here, including some with children diagnosed at a similar age to yours

I hope all's going well for you and your family - and I wish you luck for rhe school mornings! They're not easy even without diabetes!

Hi @shivles my 2yr old is type1 -diagnosed when my baby twins were a few weeks old. I am type1 too since I was 2 (a long time now!) so at least I understood. We are both pumping.
I know it's hard especially when they are so little but if you need anything we are here x
