We'll guys my day has finally arrived and has been my 1st day with my new Animas Vibe filled with the new Fiasp insulin. Had a fair few lows (which is expected untill I manage to sort out my new ratios and basal rates) but must say soooo chuffed with this pump and can't believe how great I found Fiasp! An example being in the morning had to inject for my breakfast(usually a banana) along with any appropriate positive or negative correction plus an additional half unit for the DP then wait on average 50 mins before eating. This would make me rise (bearing in mind the dp until insulin kicked in) approx 7 mmol 45 mins after eating and back to my pre meal reading about half an hour later. Knowing Fiasp is much quicker acting and with using a different delivery method I thought to be safe I wouldn't pre Bolus. So glad I didn't! Checked numerously with the Libre no rise for 15 mins then rise peaked at 4 mmol higher than my pre breakfast reading at 35 mins then started dropping same thing at lunch but spiked 6.4 mmol at an hour before dropping. This has been unheard of for me sooo happy

Good for you postleneo glad you've got sorted so hope all goes well good luck with the new equipment well done
