Why do different meters give different readings?
The Gluco RX HCT is always lower, the SD CodeFree is higher

The photo with the 3 meters was taken over the weekend & I tested on my girlfriends meter to see which of the two was nearest

I’m self funding the CodeFree meter & strips as GP surgery won’t give me anymore strips for the GlucoRX & they cost £25 for 50x

Saw Diabetic nurse at surgery & said I don’t need to test anymore as sugars are stable, but then saw the diabetic specialist GP who has made 2 referrals to hospital to see diabetic team as I’m loosing weight like crazy & not dieting & have a CT scan now booked for this Friday as I have pains in the pancreas area

I’m testing whatever they say as only diagnosed in July 2018, nurse gave me meter in November & told me to test before eating & 2 hours after, just perplexed as to why such a big difference in numbers & test strips are carefully stored & well in date

The numbers might not be the same but all the meters agree that your BG is too high, maybe that's all you need to know.

All meters have around a margin of error so no reading is truly accurate... Some are just designed to be closer to the lower margin and some the higher margin I think. I know what you mean though, I always find my Codefree to give higher readings than my GlucoRX. I tend to use my GlucoRX more for this reason but it's much more pricey than the Codefree!

Well, if they are stable and well over 10 regularly there is a problem.

That's the most important part. I'd say wait what they say and what they'll test for.

The differences on your meters are not very big. Meters tend to be most accurate when between 5 and 8 or so. In this case they all say your bg is too high.
Hope they'll find out what's wrong soon!

Meters are typically accurate within +/-15%.
For example, if your bg is really 11.0, you could get a reading between 9.3 and 12.7.
The higher your actual value, the greater the possible difference.

I would focus on reducing your bg rather than the differences in the meters.

Can you give use more information about what you are doing to reduce your BG?
There are some very experienced people on this forum who may be able to offer advice
