I have cut out a lot of foods that are high in carbohydrate and it really does work, my fasting bg at diagnosis was 19, now it averages around 4- 7
Out of interest may I ask what you ate before you were testing your levels?
to be honest i have not been given much advise and as i have IBS as well i can not eat a lot of fruit so i do tend to eat a lot of bread mostly toast and potatoes with my meals as i dont know what else to eat
my new results have come back from my fasting but not know what they are yet as i can not get app to see doc till next friday all they said is that they where not normal but acceptible and i need to see doc.
my levels today have been 14.7 this morning and tonight after my food 3hours after they where 17.5
so i am a bit lost in all this and need some sort of diet to follow from somewhere
PLEASE HELP ME
