2015/16 Football Season

Well done Tranmere and go for it tomorrow, Carlisle: I've had a soft spot for them ever since we beat them in the final of the JPT

Blades doing well holding Man Utd to a 0-0 draw so far
Sheffield were unlucky - we like them because (a) my son is at Uni there and (b) Nigel Adkins was much loved in his time at St Mary's.

Bet Dean Hammond (also ex Saints) isn't feeling very happy tonight

Carlisle have drawn you have a replay Cumberland good luck
Oxford beat Swansea blimey a giant killing.
Chelsea won
Spurs and Leicester are drawing 1-1 half time
Cardiff and Shrewsbury kick off at 6pm probably a telly match

I am sad

I had a fiver on us winning 2-1

95th bleeding minute they go and equalize to draw 2-2 fassen rassen

Blimey, Leicester nearly did for Spurs - Kane equalised with a questionable penalty just before full time. Home replay for the Foxes, which should be interesting.

Not that I'm biased against people called Pochettino who walk out on Southampton for what they perceive to be a better job elsewhere, but - come on Leicester!

You aint bitter lol

Typical, Hereford 3-1 up at half time and match abandoned, try again on Saturday

If we beat Yeovil in the replay we get Everton at home

Oh please please please beat the wurzels

Busy night last night.

Saints beat Watford 2-0 - but if they couldn't do that, they really would be a lost cause. Nice to see Fraser Forster back in goal, mind you.... Leicester beat Spurs and will meet them again in a few days for the FA Cup replay.

Chelsea match was entertaining for all the wrong reasons. Held to a draw by West Brom, but Diego Costa really needs to grow up. Everyone knows how to push his buttons but he's being paid a lot of money for his undoubted abilities: the least he can do is learn to control his temper.

Here endeth the sermon

I've now been to Anfiield twice and seen 14 goals. Well when I say 'have seen' I mean I saw 7 and heard the other seven due to the sightlines being ridiculously bad at the away end.

Yes - the Home supporters all get in the way
