Been to Meadow Lane and of course the city ground quite a few times! (Ha!)
 
I’m proud to say I’ve been going to football & rugby since I was 3. I had a season ticket up until 5 years ago now .im lucky enough to have been to every football league ground and 2 European cups.3league cup finals and the rugby World Cup semis. Amongst lots of other sporting endeavours
 

That's not bad!

I think I've been to about 130 different grounds, though missing some league clubs, or new stadia, being in the national league and watching senior cup games, I have travelled far and wide. Not as far as yourself, very impressive.
My first world cup game was at Goodison in 1966.
My boyhood hero was Alan Ball.
I was reading an article in our programme about Roy McFarland, who signed for you and made a name for himself under Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

I really enjoyed our Wembley day out except for the result, hotel, food and the traffic!
Gotta get out of this division!
 
Oh yeah, I follow Lancs and been to the likes of Trent Bridge, Headingly, Old Trafford and non league grounds watching amateur cricket in the Liverpool comp.
Which is next to pro cricket in and around all of Lancashire! Which includes, North Wales, Staffordshire Cheshire and even Yorkshire.

Big night for us tonight. Arsen Wenger said that he thought Huddersfield didn't deserve to lose and that
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger does not believes Huddersfield Town deserved to lose their last Premier League match against Manchester City.

The Terriers were beaten by a late Raheem Sterling strike last time out, but the 22-season boss believes Town were worthy of at least a point at the John Smith's Stadium.


In his pre-match press conference, Wenger said: “It’s a massive game for us. I watched Huddersfield against City, they didn’t deserve to lose."

And the Gunners' boss is doubly aware of the threat Town will pose to the north London side, claiming the Terriers have "come from hell" to play in the Premier League.

Yeah right it raises the question did he really watch the game. If he had he failed to notice that City were always going to get that winning goal they were relentless as well as unlucky. He's certainly not got owt to fear they will boss us tonight I reckon. Its hard luck that after Leicester beating Spurs and Newcastle drawing with West Brom we found ourselves down to 13th at 10pm. Our only saving grace is that Stoke face Liverpoo and Everton would need to beat Wet Spam by 6 clear goals to knock us down 2 more places. Only consolation we have is that Everton are on a **** performance at present so we really need to go there on Saturday and bring 3 points home. In the words of Jimmy Greaves "Its a funny old game is football" I still keep the faith that we can at least survive the drop in May. UTT

Everton are moving closer to appointing Sam Allardyce as their new manager as talks continue to progress positively.

That is despite reports in Portugal suggesting Everton interest in Shakhtar Donetsk coach Paulo Fonseca.

Everton caretaker manager David Unsworth is expected to take charge of Wednesday night's Premier League home meeting with West Ham United.


But the club may even be in a position to confirm Allardyce as Ronald Koeman's successor before that game.

This was printed yesterday so maybe by tonight Big Sam will be in place. Oh well we need to upset him on Saturday and make him wonder what he's taken on
 
West Brom have appointed former Newcastle and Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew as head coach.

The Baggies sacked Tony Pulis on 20 November after they went 10 Premier League games without a victory and were a point above the relegation zone.


Seems to be a lot of sacking of late. Who's next for the chop I wonder.

Well; we'll see what Citeh are like tonight, we're playing them at the Emptihad. I don't think we're likely to win but I'd like us to leave, clutching a point.

Oh well what else can I say we were well and truly slaughtered 5-0 and even Everton have now overtaken us with Stoke Bournemouth and West Brom all within striking distance. Suddenly we face a race to survive after such a brilliant start we have to turn things around soon or the enivitable will happen
 
Rooney bagged a hat trick and suddenly the Everton game looks challenging to us on Saturday. They have picked up now and to be honest I reckon big Sam will work wonders for them.

South Coast Derby with Bournemouth next week. Not sure how that one will go.

Following that, we've got Arsenal, then Chelski, then the Terriers , then Spurs. Not sure it's going to be an enormously Happy Christmas
