2017/2018 Football Season

Well, it's Mark Hughes. I suppose at least he has a genuine connection with the Saints, having played for us round about the turn of the century - but he's going to have to be a miracle worker to extract us from the mire we're in at the moment.

Still, the Fat lady hasn't sung yet, I guess :)

Good luck hope he helps you. There's still hope yet to avoid that drop and same with us. Just hope other results go in our favour eh. :)

Yeah; our clubs are both still in with a chance - but neither of us have the run-in we'd have hoped for in an ideal world :)

Still - that's football. ;)

I'm basing our fortune on the fixtures that Stoke and Palace have left to play. They we hope should get thumped by most if not all of the big clubs like City, Arsenal etc. At least we can but hope it pans out that way.

England have some friendly games next week I dunno why cos the way things are going I doubt they'll be off to Russia for the world cup. I'd certainly not wanna go after the latest shinanighans.

Here we go again with the return of the beast of the East. I dunno how many games will get called off today. I think ours will go ahead we are home to Crystal Palace. Certainly need a win if at all possible though a draw would be a valuable point and could be difference between survival and relegation.
Good luck to all those playing today. Hope that you get a win if your game goes ahead. Good luck to the Saints in the cup hope you make it to the Semi's.

Thanks. I guess that maybe we should get used to playing Wigan.....

Yeah Wigan have done well to get so far. The show's not over yet mate hang on in there we can both survive. Hopefully Stoke will lose and we will do our best to sort Palace out and hopefully Bournemouth will sort West Brom out. :)

I'd forgotten that - they've had a steep fall from grace.

Bit like Saints a few years back

Yeah they were once a Premier league team. Look at Sunderland they too were once a Prem team and now they look like being a League 1 team as well. Just shows how fortunes can change. We were once put in to administration way back in 2003 it was a worrying time I don't mind telling you then someone I cant remember now who bailed us out but since then we've come a long way with ups and downs and narrow escapes from relegation a few times. We are lucky we have a good Town man in Dean Hoyle on board though he doesn't quite have enough money to be in the same class as Man Ci, Utd etc god knows he would need someone else to come on board a multi billionaire type thing before we ever compete with that lot. But if we can stay up in the Prem then I'm sure we will all be happy:) Hopefully Saints fortune will come good and survive too. :)

At BP and freezing

At least you are winning. We are 0-1 down at present which is bad news for @jay hay-char as Saints go in the relegation zone as things stand. So far we haven't had any shots neither on target or otherwise.

Stoke down to 10 men which is good news for us.

Spurs are safely through to the Semi's after thrashing the Swans 0-3. @jay hay-char how do you fancy your chances against them assuming you beat Wigan tomorrow which I reckon you will do.
Always a pleasure to beat the scumbag defector Pochettino - but in the real world, I don't think we have a prayer. Probably just as well, because we really need to concentrate on staying up.
