It is crazy mate!
How can professional footballers play at the pace and tempo of top flight football, be match fit with only a fortnight training and not full contact at that?
They can't!
And in July!
They were saying at least a month ago they needed three to four weeks pre season training before even thinking of playing matches.
Still waiting to hear from league one if we are going to start up or finish the season!
Keep safe
Not yet John,!It will be some time yet before Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town fans can be back in a stadium and watching their teams live owing to the coronavirus pandemic.
They will, however, be able to catch their teams in action even if they can't be there in person.
Sky Sports and the English Football League announced their plans to broadcast the remainder of the 2019/20 Championship season on Friday.
With 108 matches left to be played, the second-tier will resume on June 20.
However, with matches behind closed doors and every Premier League matches being televised, both parties have now announced a plan for Championship fans.
Here are all the important details broken down, from new kick-off times and how to stream matches.
So there we have it. It looks like the Championship will be back in action on 20th June. I think that's a bad move. They should have done the same as Leagues 1 and 2 and cancelled the season.
Not yet John,!
Meeting is Tuesday to decide outcome.
Not looking good for Rovers!
Our first game back is against Wigan. Not sure where it will be played though. It shows us at Home so whether they have adopted the same Neutral venue as the Prem I dunno. Sat June 20th is the date in the fixture list.
Think, all championship games will be played home and away without supporters.
There are a few fixtures on sky, but the rest will be on I follow! Have a look on your team's official club website to see how much it will cost.
Or watch it on the radio, like I used to when I couldn't get to the game!!
Season over!
Relegated!
We will be back!
SWA!
Tranmere! What team do you support mate?
I went to school with Steve Wignall!
Your manager, John Mcgreal came through Tranmere ranks!
Enjoyed our visit last season!
Is that wishful thinking mate!
But I believe you will be okay!
But, who knows?
Dates for play offs have been announced, and of course on sky teas well as the final.Well of course I wish us to survive but even before the season was halted there were a lot of fans dismayed at our poor performance and a lot were thinking we'd get relegated. I guess all will be revealed in good time. I see League 2 are starting their play off's next Thursday and the following Monday. Are League 1 doing the same or has that one been abandoned all together?
