What improvements have you planned for 2019?

I’ve always done “pretty well” with Resolutions. By this I mean I’ve not fully kept them but partially kept them which was a blessing.

I've decided to give up getting high blood glucose levels - I figure it's about as realistic as any other resolution I've ever made.

I have a bucketlist of things to do in a year.... I don't have to do all of them, but they mean I have something to choose from on good days, to keep myself emotionally in a good place. I suppose that counts as a resolution; Keeping myself on an even keel. :) On top of that, I've stopped taking painkillers that were adding two pounds a week (not to mention walking around in a rather scary haze all the time, never knowing which way was up), so my goal is to get the added pounds back off again. It's not easy, going without the painkillers, but honestly, being on them was worse. So getting back to about where I was before last summer is the goal. And if you ask me, a fairly reasonable/feasable one!

Did you come off slowly?

It’s amazing what a good diet does for inflammation with its chronic pain.

Nah, went cold turkey. Too impatient to do anything gradually. Plus, it wasn't the kind of pill that you can cut in half, and with the doc's closed for Christmas I couldn't get a dosage change organised. I wasn't going to wait any longer. Doing alright so far, so yay. And already dropping a little weight, if I'm not mistaken! :)

To stop crossing my legs when sitting down. A lifelong bad habit of mine. I need to take care of the circulation in my legs a bit more. Also to stand up for at least 5 minutes every 10 minutes when sitting for long periods.

That's going to look strange at the cinema when you stand up for 5 minutes in the middle of a film!

To stop being such a slave to the Supreme Ruler of the Universe, aka The Cat :cat:

More Dreamies? Yes of course, Your Wonderfulness. A cuddle and tickle-tums afterwards? Certainly, Your Magnificence.

I never was much good at keeping Resolutions.:meh:

Absolutely kitty crack cocaine, @bulkbiker! In the interests of science I tried a cheesy beef one but sad to say I wasn't chilled out, man.... (It was strangely palatable but I won't be repeating the experiment in a hurry!)

OOer I've never gone so far as to try one.. I don't think the cat would like that very much he almost bites my finger off if I hold it for too long..

I gave up doing resolutions as I never kept to them lol
