2023/24 Football Season.

Well, that turned out to be a damp squib.
Same old, same old rubbish!
Got beat 2-1, just not good enough!

Good luck to all our teams playing the weekend.

Yes my brother in law will be disappointed has been a Rovers supporter for years he lives in Greasby now but was based in Birkenhead for some while as his wife hails from there.
His son is a supporter too he used to write some of the sport reports for the Liverpool Echo though has moved down to London now.

Interesting mate,
I do know quite a few of our supporters.
If you want to pm me, I will let you know.
Small world ain't it?

Just seen the results from Wednesdays games and yikes Leeds went and lost to Stoke and all the others below us won so now we just 5 points above the drop zone. Hopefully we can overturn Leeds tomorrow but if not then we will need to come out and beat Watford next Saturday(4th Nov)
Good luck to all those playing this weekend. Hope your team wins.

We are meant to be playing tonight, at home v Arbroath but as it hasn't stopped raining for the last...

not sure if it will be on...

It did and we battered them, 6-0. 3 in each half. Young lad Fotheringham was on the score sheet again.

Good luck to the teams today.

We lost 4.1 now that's a a battering and a half. Was 4.0 down at half time. Start hoping Rotherham don't win tomorrow. Need to beat Watford next Saturday.
Leeds are going to be there or there abouts. Didn't really need another heavy one. Hope they bounce soon.

Looking like Birmingham are going to be saying hello to free fall...

We got battered 2-0!
Could and should have been a bigger score!
Now in relegation trouble.
FGR at home next.

And that's how it finished. I bet Sheffield Wednesday are elated at getting their first win. It gives us a 5 point cushion. But looking at it realistically we still need to get a shift on.

Tidy away win at Airdrie last night, 0-2, young Kia Fotheringham got the goals in the second half.
Plastic pitch, takes some getting used to!
Going well.
