2023/24 Football Season.

Yessss 2-1 victory. 6 points above the drop zone. We needed that cos next week we face the Mighty Neighbours (Leeds Utd) in a big Yorky derby. 12:30pm kick off. Leeds just beaten Norwich 2-3. But that's only cos Norwich scored for them. But before we face Leeds we have a Home tie with Cardiff on Tuesday night. Hopefully beat them and gain 3 more valuable points.

0-5 against potential promotion rivals, they went close last year.
Our CB scored three, first time in clubs history that a CB has done that!
Great support went through.
Sad about Bobby C, wonderful player and man.

Great win mate!
I saw Bobby playing at Goodison and Anfield in the sixties.
He cruised around the pitch, passing, always open for a pass and delivering, great servant for Man Utd. Can still remember like it was yesterday, the goal v Mexico in '66.

We have two away games this week and a point from either would still keep us in the dogfight.
Morecambe, then Stockport who are top!!!!

Finished 0-4. What a battering. That doesn't exactly fill any of us with confidence for the big Leeds game on Saturday. Just hoping all those below us slip up Having said that QPR are losing 2-0 atm so stay 6 points behind us. Plymouth play tomorrow night As do Stoke but Leeds could do us a favour and beat Stoke tomorrow night and Plymouth face Sheff Weds also tomorrow night.

Was sorry to see this last night, Leeds is probably not what you need next, isn't that the way of it.
Hopefully they will do Stoke tonight.
I hope Moore is given time. :rolleyes:

Well it's early days but we do need to get a move on. I reckon that if we are still playing badly by Christmas that Moore will be ousted. The fans won't be too happy.

Only cos teams below also lost are we not in drop zone.
Goals have dried up.
No away points this season and Stockport away Saturday, top of league are flying!

Thanks Mate. Yeah There's still time yet. If we could beat Leeds on Saturday it would be a massive boost to the players and Mr Moore too. I live in hope.
Hopefully you will bounce back too mate. Hang on in there.

Not quite despair yet!
But I have no faith in our management system and our players are just not good enough! Or not confident in the system, shape and tactics! Or a combination of everything!

Ho hum!
