2024/25 Football Season

Wycombe are cup tied on Friday night and Wrexham are postponed yet again. That mean's at 5pm on Sat we will have caught them up match number wise. But if we win then we'll be just 1 point behind them both.

They don't mate, not many below championship do.
And there has been another fall of snow last night.
And the temperature isn't getting above freezing any time soon.

2-0 loss away to Celtic isn't going to surprise anyone. It could have been worse, though the first one was gifted, which is never very bright.

Dees have the Gers on a cold Thursday night in Dundee. Not long a go Rangers started a game with only one Scot in the starting eleven.
 
Shocking.
Though it might surprise you back in the eighties, liverpoo only one Englishman. Rest were mainly Scots, Irish and a couple of welsh. Grobelaar was an exception as an African.
Nowadays, it seems like every club has to have a smattering of every nation under the sun.
 
Our game tomorrow is looking doubtful. The pitch is being closely monitored but with temps of minus 6 predicted for tonight it's looking like a high probability that it will be postponed. Such a shame cos it would give the team a massive incentive to close that gap to 1 point seeing as Wycombe and Wrexham have cup ties. Never rains but it pours eh but the safety of both team's players and fans are more important. Watch this space.
 
You really have to wonder about the FA.

I just want to make you aware that the decision to play the two facup games played last night, was the beeb, not the fa. But it is never about the fans or the club's football staff really. It's about the cash, the club's hierarchy can make from it.
The majority of premiership clubs, and a few in the championship, are that awash with cash, they don't need to have supporters in their stadiums.
I'm not too sure about Celtic, but rangers have struggled for cash lately.
 
The udders game with the shrews is off.

Yeah I just seen that now. Better safe than sorry. It can be played at a later date on a Tuesday night which will be a disapointment to the travelling fans that would have gone tomorrow. Mid week matches not everyone can go.
