2024/25 Football Season

Away to Blackpool next Saturday Lunch time. Looking at the forecast it will be at least 9C above so there should no chance of a postponement. As yet we don't know the date of our rescheduled Shrewsbury game.

0-1 88th minute winner and then our goalie saves a penalty to take all three points.
Third in the table only 4 behind the Gers, though we have played two more games...

Huddersfield Town is mourning the loss of one of its most iconic figures Denis Law who has passed away at the age of 84. The prolific striker, who made a club-record transfer to Manchester United in 1962, scored an impressive 237 goals over his 404 appearances for the team. However, it was at Huddersfield Town where his career really took off.

The deeply saddened Law family released a statement on Friday saying: "It is with a heavy heart that we tell you our father Denis Law has sadly passed away. He fought a tough battle but finally he is now at peace."

A sad loss. he was a fantastic player and a true gentleman. RIP Denis.
