2024/25 Football Season

Back to winning ways once more with a hefty 0-4 win. I'm gobsmacked to say the least. The others above us lost apart from Charlton and that puts us in 3rd place. Next up is a Home tie with Northampton next Saturday.

Howevr, we got smashed, in the last twenty minutes even tho, they had a man sent off.

Thanks. It was a real shock. Some fans say we should have had more but what the heck I say ok we missed chances but we won and that's the main thing.
Yeah I saw the score in your game and Carlisle's game too. Not good mate Still it's early days yet so room for improvement.
 
Played last night away at Motherwell in the League cup.
One down for most of the game. Scored in the 86th minute and they scored again in the 96th!

Weekend a bit glum on the football front.

Got smashed again 3-0, very poor.
Dropped to 16th.
Can't score. Shocking tally from 7 games.
Next game Friday night.
 
A Championship club have sacked their manager following a disastrous start to the season which sees them sit bottom of the table.


Cardiff fell to a fifth defeat in six league games against Leeds on Saturday and remained rooted to the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship with only one point and one goal this season.

Hardly surprising. 5 defeats in 6 is not good at all.
 
There is a lot of speculation on the Rovers fans boards about a takeover of our club.
Yankee consortium.
The sooner the better.
It has got to be better than the last few seasons.
We shall see.
