2024/25 Football Season

Home to Blackpool tonight. I'm not saying much as it appears to Jinx us lol. Watch this space.
That was bad what happened down at Wimbledon's ground due to those floods and the Sink hole. Hopefully they'll get it sorted soon.

Two SPL managers have fired,
Levein at St Johnstone, no surprise there, he is ****
Boy a Hearts, again no surprise there, they can't buy a point. The last four Hearts managers have all been fired after getting beaten by St Mirren!!

New here, but love a footie thread

I'm Watford, but do dabble with Stevenage as it's a short bus/train ride from me...( and my local non-league Hertford Town)

Missing my footie. Love the whole aspect of it, the travel, beers, food ( well, some of it!!), and can't get myself to go without a pint or two and perhaps a Balti Pie...:( Which is probably why I'm on this board anyway!!

So, Up The Hornets

Welcome aboard mate. Good luck to Watford this weekend. Hope they win.

Friday night footie at Rovers is usually something relished.
But for some reason no one told the players last night.
A really drab 0-0.
They came for a point and couldn't score. And we have forgotten again how to create and score.

still only three goals scored in the league by one player. Aaagghhh!

best of luck to all our teams.

I really enjoyed our pre covid cup game at Vicarage road.
And I think that was my third time visiting.
We also played you last game of the season when a former manager of yours retired.
Nowt but positives from your club, staff and supporters.
Welcome to our little corner of the footie world.

Yet again we fail to hit the target more than once. Lost 2-1. We really do need some goal scorers. All eyes are on the chasing pack now. to see where we end up in the table at 5pm. Next game down at Birmingham Tuesday night. Then comes the big Yorky derby with our fellow neighbours Barnsley on Saturday dinner time.
