24 hour albunimuria test

Hello i have been diabetic for 17 years type1. I have done 24 alvumin test for many years now and i have no alvuminuria. Do i have do it every year since i had no alvuminhouria yet? Thanks.

I think you mean albuminuria , and normally you should get it tested every year as a precaution.
