Do you feel ok now as you've probably ate something for your tea?
Is this your first hypo?
Always have something handy to help you like glucose tablets or some jelly babies but not too many!
Do not take a sports drink as the sudden spike could be just as worse!
What meds are you on?
I'll have a look thanksThose are good figures in your sig!
And you've lost a fair bit of weight, haven't you? Good going.
May I make a suggestion? Have a read of this thread. It's about reactive hypoglycaemia(RH).
Now, I'm the first person to admit that I see RH everywhere.
But that is because it IS everywhere.
So don't worry, I'm not diagnosing you. I'm just offering a piece of info, which may, or may not be relevant to you.
The reason I'm suggesting it is because you've lost weight - by reducing in size, you have enabled the same amount of insulin to have a bigger effect ( less diluted by your size). Does that make sense?
Ok. Will shut up now.
And if the RH thread doesn't ring any bells, then pretend I didn't post.

Not convinced that it is RH. The OP hasn't said anything about the symptoms of RH. He has had one or two hypos that most T2s get!
I will hold my hand up and admit I'm wrong if it is RH, but I'm not convinced.
Sancho, what are your fasting bloods?
What was your last hb1ac?
Do you regularly test before and 2 hours after?
Have you any particular weird symptoms that have developed recently?
If you have read up on RH the list of symptoms are there. How many have noticed.
If you want to. Have a carb meal and test every half hour after for up to four hours and see the results, you will be able to tell!
I realised that as I read your post. I didn't want any confusion or misunderstanding!Nope, I'm not convinced either.
But I noticed that the hypo mentioned was 3 hours after a meal - which contained two portions of bread.
So I thought it was worth mentioning. And I did specifically state I was giving info, not a diagnosis.
