44 years T1 and still making mistakes

Mistakes - once I filled my insulin pump with slow acting Tresiba when I should have used Fiasp. 2 set changes and 24hrs later I realised what I had done when the Tresiba pen cartridge I had filled from fell from a shelf in the fridge - duh!
 
I've only been diagnosed with LADA since January but made a boo boo today. Went out for a barbecue, lovely jug of Pimms on the table. I had checked the Pimms on my carb app already so knew it was OK. The one thing I didn't even consider was whether the host had added lemonade or set lemonade to the jug. It was full sugar so my sugars went shooting up and it's taken hours to get them back in range. I'd had about 4 glasses by the time I clocked what was happening! Sp stupid but lesson learned.

Easy done - I used to get caught by bartenders in pubs pushing the 'full fat' coke button instead of diet - its easier to ask for bottled now (or pick something like water that I know will be low carb).
 
I know this might be off topic a bit but I did get up at night for the peverbial pee and I forgot I didn’t have a leg lmao am so glad the light was off and no one was watching , I did find it funny after the initial kissing the carpet , another steaming up the mirror adventure lol let’s face it if you canny laugh at yourself there’s no hope

Again a laugh & hug - wish we could do multiple imojis sometimes - I find your outlook on life very inspiring:)

The things us two legged people never realise...
Although I have been known to choose a rather hard to chew hypo treatment at night, forgetting my dentures were in a glass. Still, not nearly as spectacular as forgetting about a missing leg.
