I've just passed 48 hours - not by choice though. Got some dreaded bug that had me throwing up and on the toilet for most of Sunday, spent all the time in between sleeping and feeling like death with my trusty bucket very close by. Guts finally settled by Monday morning, but the very idea of food makes me nauseous. Tuesday morning my time and still no inclination to eat, so will play it by ear. Worst bout of food poisoning (I'm assuming that's what it was as the onset was not long after eating some cold chicken) I've had in years. And ugh, that disgusting brown-green oily slick that ends up being the last possible stuff you can throw up
Hope you start to feel better really soon.. sorry just saw that you have been ill.. on the plus side great BG and ketones! always a silver lining..(sorry that was a bit mean) xNow Wednesday evening here. Only time I've 'eaten' since Sunday morning was a probiotic milk drink yesterday - that resulted in a return of the squits, so back to fasting and imodium. Still not feeling in the least bit hungry, though exceptionally tired all the time and periodically feeling nauseous. Tomorrow will see if I feel up to eating and will start with something small and definitely not dairy. Might even try a couple of days of light meat only. Just measured BG of 3.3 and ketones of 3.8
Definite upside is that the experience seems to have lowered my tolerance for hypoglycemia. Normally I start to get weird leg sensations at anything lower than around 4.7. I had no clue till I just took my BG that it was so low. So big plus in that regard.Hope you start to feel better really soon.. sorry just saw that you have been ill.. on the plus side great BG and ketones! always a silver lining..(sorry that was a bit mean) x

Have broken the fast today after 96 hours with two small meals, just over 500cals. Still feeling easily nauseated, no idea why. The weirdest thing has been the ketone response to eating. FBG was 3.9. First meal was 3 scrambled eggs w/ roast beef. Very little carbs. BG at 1 hour was 3.9 and ketones were 6.6!!! I've never taken a ketone reading after eating before and was quite stunned.
Had a higher (c.25g) carb meal of mixed berries w/ nuts, seeds and Greek yoghurt. Premeal reading 3.9. 1 hour PP BG was 5.3 and ketones were 5.2. Bizarro world
@bulkbiker - Not looking to speak for @CherryAA , but yes, you can download all of the background data and I always do. It downloads as a .txt file, which I then convert to .csv, and drop into Excel and work with it from there. Obviously from Excel it's very easy to identify high and lows, without having to make interpretations of a line.
If you log your eating episodes in the Libre, the reading will identify your post-meal peak, and so on. When aligned with recording exogenous insulin timings and dosing, it can be extremely powerful.
Of course, there can be some variances in the data, just as there can be meter readings..
Is download only possible if you are using the App???
