6.9 on waking

Hi first time I’ve monitored waking I found out 2 days ago I’m pre
diabetic and waiting for doc appointment
In the meantime I bought a monitor and this morning tested when I got up and reading was 6.9
I’ve no idea what this means
My A1C was 6.1
Any help appreciated

Your reading of 6.9 does indeed put you in the pre diabetic range. Have you had any advice on how to reduce your levels? I’ll post a link to some useful info for newly diagnose. Have a read then come back with any questions you might have:
