6 Months And Reversed My T2

May I offer you my congratulations, it’s so very rewarding when you put in huge effort and it pays off! Excellent, onward and upward.

Very well done! Keep up the good work!
Have you seen @Debandez post about a low carb meet up?
Here’s the post:

Thanks. I need to offer you and Daisy my most sincere personal thanks.

You responded to my first 'Oh **** I've got T2 what do I do" type post.
Without your immediate reassuring replies and tips. They gave me the inspiration to change immediately and drive a huge change in my lifestyle.

So without you two I'd have had no chance.

So thanks

Awww, thanks for your kind words, I too derived huge benefits from signing up to this forum when I was diagnosed in May ‘17. I clearly remember the first few people who responded to my first ‘Shell shocked’ post and now I just want to pay back

IMO BMI should only be a guide. I still need to lose weight. Amen I get to 17.5st I'll reassess where I'm aiming for.
I've lost 4st whats another 1.5?
Hi @BigIain you will get rid of the extra 1.5 and hit your goal I'm sure. According to BMI chart I should be 12.4!! last time I was that weight was when I was 14 years old LOL

Congratulations! I would like to know what diet you took and exercises you did to achieve this! Please share with us.

CONGRATULATIONS. WELL DONE!!!

Basically followed the 8 week blood sugar diet book br Claire Bailey recipes.

Cut out the beer and all snacks. Drink gin and Slimline and if snacking mini babybels and nuts.

Exersise.. not much started doing The plank twice a day and 40+ squats every morning and walk about 8k steps at work.

I haven't needed to cheat, so have been very strict.

Add my congratulations to the chorus, a celebration for achieving a tough target is in order. Keep going and I am sure you will achieve the target weight you set yourself. Who else has noticed your weight loss? What was their reaction? I know some of my work colleagues are positively jealous of my weight loss and how long I have managed to keep it!

Every one notices and comments. It's great motivation to keep going!

Great stuff and well done. You are doing the right thing setting your own targets – you clearly have the motivation and commitment to meet them.
