As you lot are probably aware, I do like to research the more weirder things that is associated with hypoglycaemic conditions.
When tests for diagnosis are done, they do not actually diagnose the symptoms presented, what they are for are for what they are not. Then further tests are done.
The 72 hours test is an example.
It was my final test because I did not go hypo at any time during the full four and a bit days. It was actually just over 80 hours before I managed to get food.
However, as I've learned through posts from various posters, that do go hypo when fasting.
I have always advised, if their endo hasn't already done, more tests for the reason behind this.
It is usually a pancreatic condition such as pancreatitis, insulinoma or possibly pancreatic cancer. There may be others.
We have also seen posters have symptoms of hypoglycaemia, even RH, after surgery, notably the Y surgery. And of course so called glucose dumping, or other such symptoms.
I came across this condition whilst looking around the internet.

Noninsulinoma Pancreatogenenous Hypoglycaemia Syndrome.

As I understand it, it is very similar to my RH but the symptoms of hypoglycaemia doesn't happen naturally, and could be similar to postprandial hypoglycaemia syndrome. .

The other condition similar and connected is Insulin autoimmune hypoglycaemia.

Both of these conditions could be found when insulinoma is suspected.

One of the descriptions I found for these conditions is such I hope!
Plasma insulin, c-peptide and proinsulin volumes are elevated in both insulinoma conditions.

I also found a description of his hypoglycaemia because of food as in my hypoglycaemia.

Insulin secreted in response to a meal binds to the antibody and then disassociates in an unregulated fashion causing hyperinsulinaemia then hypoglycaemia.

Or as I usually post.....
Meal, spike, overshoot, hypo.

Phew!
