Whats the carb/fiber count for these bars? Can't see it on the website
I don't know who posted about these but thank you. I hadn't tried these before, but now keep one in my desk drawer in case I need a snack (and don't eat a full one all at once.
However, you are responsible for me spending £7 on these yesterday in Asda!!!
The don't have any, can eat 1/2 bar, meat, and yoghurt and berries for lunch and still be 5-6 at dinner time .hi I did post about these a while back, though probably on a Coeliac thread. The original is 50g and 14.6 carbs. The flaxseed bar is slightly higher in carbs and they also make a peanut bar and a pumpkin seed bar. lovely tasting seeds, a bit pricy though, but Asda do offers on these bars at times, buy 2 for £1also Tesco do a pack of four, but slightly smaller bar size A real treat for me pleased you enjoy them, do you test your BS, and what effect do they have on you? with best wishes.

Thanks lovinglife. How does 17.2 g per bar (50 g) qualify as low carb ? That's almost 2/3 of my daily allowance.
That was my fiirst reaction too,and it put me off!I checked on the Tesco site, and they claim that the peanut and pumpkin versions are around 11-12g carbs per 40 gram bar - the others i think were definitely more. So I reckoned I could possibly try one of the seed or nut ones as the carby part a meal and see what happened spike wise. But then since the offer code wasn't recognised I decided fate was trying to tell me something and gave up bothering!! I reckon we're often being taken for gullible fools though when it comes to "low carb" products.
Robbity
. As it is made up of nuts and seeds it is very low GI
