Thank you. A very usual resource but if you do not mind I will forego octopus. I love those critters free in their environment!!!!!
And hazelnuts in chocolate covers at least ALA, Vitamin D and E plus I think zinc (but lower on the list than what is presented)

Something else for people to become obsessional about. Just eat a wide variety of foods, get some sunlight and you will have all the nutrients you need.

I agree wholeheartedly!
Many of those foods are or should be part of what I believe to be a normal healthy diet anyway, and many also feature in low carb food lists. So in theory there should be no earthly reason for us to suffer from any diabetic dietary deficiencies.:banghead:

If you indulge in alcohol, nicotine or painkillers then extra nutrients are needed.

Because they put a lot of strain on your body. Smoking depletes Vit C and alcohol depletes Vit B. If one is a diabetic the strain is greater. A poster mentioned a wide range of foods. If you are diabetic then you can't eat or shouldn't eat a wide range of of foods because of the sugar and carb content. Extra nutrients are essential to control Diabetes.
