Hello
I have mostly been lurking, but following posts. I was diagnosed type 2 diabetes years ago (at least 5) but my dr seemed satisfied that my A1C was under 6%. - with metformin and januvia. So, I did not take it very seriously.
I would read posts on low carb and think, that’s too hard.
Finally, a friend convinced me to give keto a try. I remembered what I had read here and figured it was a great idea.
I am in a program called Virta. They explain it easy to understand directions.
I am off Januvia, my fasting glucose was 96 mg/dL. I can’t find the converter right now, but that is great for me. I think I may be able to reduce metformin next.
Thank you all for leading the way.
