Hi All,
A little background. Diagnosed Type 2, June 2017 HbA1c 54 (7.1%), Chol 5.8, 13 stone 7lb.
September HbA1c 48 (6.5%), Chol 5.4 (0.4 reduction in LDL), 12 stone 2lb.
May 2018 HbA1c 45 (6.3%), Chol 6.2 (LDL back up 0.4 but HDL now 0.4 up), 11 stone 7lb.
Have spent much time reading many, many posts before plucking up courage to post myself. Rarely take things at face value but decided to put into practice what I have learnt. A big thankyou to all the positive posters who have helped me to improve my health over the last 11 months, so many posters have contributed to this I could list dozens but to name some of the most influential, Brunneira, Bulkbiker and Nocrbs4me + many others. Have (obviously) significantly changed my ways, haven't been a saint but have found many significant health improvements as a result of diet change and achieved with not too much pain either. So glad to have found this website and should be compulsory reading for all newly diagnosed.
