Probably not the best time to sit down and write something close to my heart, so stay with me.
This week our corner of the world took a slight knock but we're still spinning.
I just want to say why FBG is important to me.
I think my DN was slightly taken back when she told me I was T2 and it must have seemed to her that my response was... none. I really didn't know what it was really all about.
I think I was lucky, no meds, just go away and try to lose some weight and we'll see where you get to.
Forward a bit, lost a lot of weight and BG's appear to be good, HbAc1 improved.
I have to say I've still not done a lot of research into T2, so to a degree I am still pretty naive as to the future. After my second HbAc1 test, which came back "improved" I stopped testing, seemed okay to me.
Third HbAc1 test was coming up and so I thought I better see where I was, not bad but still a bit high.... better routine of testing showed some foods would really rock my BGs, so decided to knuckle down.
I do accept I will never not be a T2 again, so need to act accordingly.
Typing in my am FBG has become part of my routine and pretty central to my day. My numbers are what I think are good for me, not as low as some but alright. I hope this forum will be here to act as my "Guardian Angel" for as long as I need it.... and I'm hoping that will be a while.
It's great to see when others report how their FBG have responded to the things they have tried.
It's great to see how the group support those who appear from no where with numbers that are higher than is good for them.
I like the thread "Type 2 life" where all can be chatted about and I would like to have a home for T2 FBG where we can all muck together.

I hope that makes sense.

I guess I'm a bit confused by this thread and exactly what you're trying to say, as there seem to be a whole heap of threads about fasting levels if you feel the need to post. Probably so many now that it's becoming confusing.

If it's something very personal to you, you could always start your own thread or blog as I believe @ally1 did at one point?
