A delicate question

I am on my second week of low-carbing and have become evangelical about it!! Hope I can keep it up. Anyway, I am suffering an embarrassing side effect - wind!! Does anyone know if this just happens at the beginning, or is this something I (and those around me!!!) have to get used to???

this may be due to more fibre in your diet, if you have increased your vegetables. If so you will adapt.

If you have had any issues with Candida, or other yeasts and microbes it is possible that the wind may be a 'die-off' symptom. I think the beasties get pretty aggravated when their food source is taken away and can produce all sorts of by-products as they deplete.

Certainly have had that at times when changing my diet but it does seem to settle.

I was always windy when eating my carbs, the complete opposite has happened for me. No wind, happy days. Sorry I know that's not helpful!

I did get windy when I stopped the carbs. However, it coincided with going to uni so it might have been the increased Guinness consumption.
