Visited my consultant the other week discussed where im at with my T1 ive been struggling with injection sites etc insulin resistance etc i mentioned that i had been looking at the i port to save me some injection sites! he agreed! a first but yes i thought hes listening to me! he then says give it a week get in touch with gp so i do! only to be told they need more info 3 weeks goes by no contact so i ring gp nothing! i ring the consultant secratary nothing as hes away on holiday ok we all need one! but after agreeing now to be told i cant have one surely he would of know that to begin with.......Or am i just being strung along as thats how it seems! Anyone else had any issues like this ?
