I am a recently diagnosed diabetic who is also on a gluten free diet, are the recipes on this site suitable for me ? i have tried to find a cookery book but without success.
Thanks Lemon Queen

If you are OK with ground almonds then for most recipes I use it is a reasonable flour substitute - but use a low carb/keto recipe as ground almonds are different.

If trying low carb, eat meat, fish poultry, egg, most cheeses, and a few nuts as preferred (I don't eat beef or lamb but am OK with the rest).
Use butter or olive oil.
If using dairy swap to full fat - Greek yogurt is nice with a few raspberries.

Just search for Keto or low carb to find recipe sites.

I am gluten-free and have been for a number of years. WHilst it took a bit of getting used to (and a LOT of label reading and consulting with DrGoogle), I no longer find it overly onerous.

Personally, I check recipes and produce myself for suitability for my circumstances. I have had a gluten (style) reaction even when eating from the GF menu in a restaurant, so mistakes can happen, even with the best of intentions.

What sort of things do you have specific concerns about, and how long have you been living GF?

In many gluten free products, the gluten is replaced by potato starch or similar ingredients.
I would always use fresh food that is low carb.
