A minor rant.

I really really would love absolute ridget times to eat, everyday.
Every one of my days can be significantly different.
Tempramental partner due to mental illness and a possible autistic 4yr old with constant pain due to bad back can be the biggest distraction, some days.

I think society has lost something very important when some workers have to fight for their lunch break or tea break. Diabetics and none diabetics.
I wish things were like that ...... but my life just cannot accomodate such ridget need, however maybe my hba1c and diabetes management would be a lot easier or successful if it was.
I wonder what my partner would say if I said "stop everything, I'm diabetic so I must eat same time everyday"?
Or a boss?

I can relate to the inverse of that. Sometimes (and more often than I'd like) family members will go "Are you sure you're not hypo?" if I'm having difficulty with something (eg map reading!). It's incredibly irritating when you're not hypo (as is usually the case) but very very occasionally they're right....

I like to turn it around on people...if my mum is saying something silly, or having trouble doing something, I will ask her "Are YOU having a hypo?" :)
