soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I checked Fasting Bg at 7;00 this morning. 5.0. I had cold chicken and went to the gym for an hour's circuits class. I drank some water, then went to another venue and walked 2 1/4 miles in 50 minutes. Stopped at the pub for coffee(milk, no sugar) and came home fairly tired. Checked BG out of curiosity 5.7 :?
It certainly wasn't the effect you get if you start off high and the rise wasn't much BUT!! what's going on?

Possibly the effects of a liver dump perhaps ?

You had only chicken which is no carbs, then some strenuous exercise, then a brisk lengthy walk. You say yourself that you felt tired, possibly because your Bg level dropped too low because of all the activity and no carbs, so a liver dump pushed your levels up higher to compensate. Do you ever check your Bg levels before and after exercise ? My thoughts anyway ?

As LR says, for me pretty normal really. Nothing I would be concerned about.

I don't often test before and after exercise, i don't have the strip supply. I'll set myself up a test tomorrow, when it's 45 minutes aqua exercise first thing, then Chair based class. I'll save strips by not doing a fasting.
 
Maybe it was the protein in the chicken?
I'd be pretty pleased with those readings.
