Walking round shops is about the only way I do my walking. Holding on to shopping trolley to keep me upright. I count that towards 30 minutes.Three days without any exercise apart from walking around shops and exhibitions. Too much driving. Gardening and walking needed today! Even so lost another 0.5kg in the last week.
Go Jamrox. Its a lovely day.Confession time.
I am still in bed.....well it is a bank holiday and my hubby is at work.
You lot have made me feel guilty. Getting up now and going for a walk .

Well done Mrs Vimes!I am knackered. Stayed up til midnight catching up on game of thrones. Got up at 6.30 because of the gorgeous sunlight. Went to the gym for 8.30 and it was not opening until 9 because of bank holiday.
So, did I go back home? No. I went to the supermarket next to it and bloody hell I bought salad. Then went to the gym. Managed to keep blood sugars below 7 using the rowing machine and using my temp basal on the pump. It went up by 1.8 when I did the weights but dropped back down when I got home.
I am now in total cabbage mode. Must stop staying up late.
The best thing about all the exercise everyone is doing is that it increases our insulin sensitivity. Wish I'd started this years ago.

Hi Pipp, I like the suggestions of using the stairs in the adverts. That is an excellent idea. (And the only way I will do cleaning is now to think of it as a getting fit activity thanks to this thread.)Well done Mrs Vimes!
Its the small changes that make the difference.
Yay CathyPJust seen this thread, I'm in too all eit a week late in starting I will just finish a week later). I need some incentive to get moving more.
Yes, I am thinking I should only look at forum on ipad if I am also using the stairs. So well done peacetrain for that idea.Hi Pipp, I like the suggestions of using the stairs in the adverts. ....... Its a lovely day......
Some folk think rain is lovely, but we have had sunshine all day. You're obviously in the right part of the country today. I'm in West Berkshire and it's been raining all day. I still managed a 70 minute walk though and my coat is now dripping on the kitchen floor!

Have done 10 minutes walking round garden, and 25 minutes walking holding shopping trolley.
Go Jamrox. Its a lovely day.
I have just noticed we are both listed as 'active members'. Something to aspire to!
