Ace, well done. That is the power of this thread. I don't dare to start slacking. I'd be too ashamed to come on and tell you I had done nowt, and I couldn't lie to you all by pretending.Well, I let the side down a bit today with no cycle or run. Starving hungry at 6pm I thought about you guys and pulled myself together to go for a hearty stomp with the dogs down to the river.
Got to see a dipper which I was chuffed with!
Came back up a deer path in the wood huffing and puffing through undergrowth, and practically on my hands an knees stooping under low branches.
Returned red in the face, but very pleased with myself and grateful to have you lot encouraging me to get my backside in gear!x

Stop making me feel guilty and laugh! Not even SUPMDing? Shame on you!
Went to Cragside. Walked round garden and house for two hours. And I'm sure my frisson of annoyance directed at the couples trailing very small and bored children round a Victorian mansion burnt a few extra calories off.

I actually prefer walking in rain. Just as well as I live in Cumbria! The woodlands looked lovely and smelt all mossy and fresh.

Mr Ethyl was "trapped" doing 34 at 1.30 am by it coming home from gig at Metro Arena. He took the speed awareness course option.
