Yay! Well done. Walk when and where you can. I am not able to anymore, and miss that social contact, and observing all that is going on. Not the same going out in the car.Hi I try to do exercise everyday, today walked in to town had a look around and walked back in the rain so I recken its about a good 3 miles and I always feel better for doing something and when you are walking you get to see all sorts of things and meet people .
I hope the headache cleared after the walk. Walk better than paracetamol. At home with a headache today so took a quiet walk after lunch to my GPs to pick up a prescription. A nice 50 minute round trip. Day 11 done.
Good, glad we are able to raise a smile for you. I think some of us are a bit barmy, but we do encourage each other, and I think we have all made progress in increasing our exercise even in some small measure for some of us.Just found this thread, had me laughing about diabetes, that must be a first. I've been doing my bit by coughing up my lungs, day and night, for a month with asthma and a severe chest infection. Cortisone and antibiotics and asthma pump, bs are high, but can't be helped, dr is a vert experienced sensible man! Every test possible as soon as I am better. Oh my gosh, cortisone makes me want to eat the wall paper paste! Any carb would do, but hubby is a champ and helps me a lot.
I can get strips or testing as I need, Aus seems good on that score.
Walking now, slowly around the house, have smal sets of steps, makes it easier to cope, gardening as soon as I can.
Yay for this blog, happier than I've been for days
Jamrox! I thought you were following peacetrain's advice to PUALP as a change from SUPMD.

Needed a big shop today. I am chomping my way through tons of veg. Exercise consisted of sauntering around supermarket, holding myself upright on the shopping trolley. Tempted to sit in it but bum too big and spouse too weak to push me and the shopping. I claim that as 40 minutes of walking. Inspired by that, and of course you guys, I went for a walk with daughter and dog. That took 45 minutes, but only about 15 of those were walking, as I sat down a lot. Think I will leave any stair climbing alone for rest of the day, and exercise in water tomorrow, as it is less painful.
Sorry, it referred to our silliness a few days ago.I have no idea about PUALP etc and was always **** at countdown. ..Pleasssse put me out of my misery ...lol

I know, Jamrox. Just that it hurts so much, and I have knackered myself for at least the rest of today. Think I am a mermaid or fish, as water is so much more comfortable than landYou do realise that the 15 walk was extra !!! You are doing fab.
40 +15 =55 ..more than you could do in the beginning.
