"A new you in 42"

Jamrox, take note of your own advice. If you are too tired your body is telling you to take a rest. Laughing a lot burns calories, and can be done from the comfort of a chair, or bed.

Pipp you are absolutely right. Now who can I get to make my tea lol

I hope the headache cleared after the walk. Walk better than paracetamol.

Thanks for the good wishes, but no, the headache is still making itself felt although it has receded somewhat. Anyway, SWMBO got home from work and noted we were short on bread for our children's lunches tomorrow (three children, all adults, all still living at home! ) so I went for another 40 minute walk to get a loaf. At least the weather is sunny and warm.

SWMBO?
Ah, adult children. Ours have left home and returned a few times. Currently away, but we have a revolving front door! Maybe time for us to downsize to smaller home.
Sorry about the headache, but at least you have excelled with 3 x amount of exercise required for challenge today.

15 minutes on exercise bike, 15 minutes dancing in the kitchen to David Bowie- doing manic arms in air waving not only good for bingo wings but eyesight too as I noticed the reason it always seems dim in our kitchen might have had something to do with the inch of dust ( we have a woodburning cooker) on the glass shades. Oh the shame. So ten minutes up and down cleaning them.

SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed (don't shoot the messenger!).

Gosh I'm on fire today ...

Oh dear,
I am retired now, but still remember how difficult it was to spin all those plates of working full time, studying, caring for elderly, sick parents, coping with stroppy teenagers and trying to keep everyone fed watered and happy. No wonder my significant other and I didn't get a look in.
Hope you can get time out for yourself.

...haven't been reporting in for duty the last three days lol but I've been keeping up with the exercise...still mainly faster walking in the lunch hour and the twist board when I get home....have almost given up with that body blade, it just doesn't like me and I'd love to chuck it through the window... ..... bit more exercise than usual too as been mad busy at work lately and I've had to move around quite a bit whereas its normally just sitting at my desk.....plenty of floors which means plenty of stairs....handy as I live in a flat so none at home...

44 minutes brisk walking just completed.

Today I have also completed 30 ups and downs in blocks of 5. 3 of these I followed up with another exercise: raise left knee/touch with right hand, raise right knee/touch with left hand. I did 50 of those each time. All during TV ads ha ha

I'm going to look Ad Fab soon !!

I've also discovered my bottom has talent! It can harmonise to Donovan's "try and catch the wind".

I can just see it now, when I get on stage for my Brit Award:
"I owe it all to metformin and cauliflower. Thank you so much!"

Peacetrain! That is genius, as is the cross paddling watching TV ads.
Now you have me SUPMDing again!
I knew you would be back on form again today.
Pipp

Hahahaaa, peacetrain. I am now going to claim extra minutes of exercise because I am doing Pilates (sort of) engaging my core abdominals and then releasing them in an attempt to stop laughing like I have lost the plot or having a continence mishap. Significant other thinks I have finally lost it!

Just checked, my post did say cross paddling not cross piddling.

Hi all I think you are all doing a great job with the exercise and keeping motivated, today i danced around the house while i cleaned up then I did 45 mins on my bike at a fast pace. Tomorrow is food shopping day, so I will walk down town which will take me about 25 mins at a fast rate then my hubby will drive down to meet me there and from there we will mooch around the shops. So I hope you will all have a nice day tomorrow

Oh no!! Now I have a piddling Pilates practitioner to contend with !!
