A Question on Honey

I do not have diabetes
Is it ok for Diabetics to eat honey. As Ive seen some diabetic cookery books using honey.
 
Honey is very high in carb content. I would never tell anyone they can't eat a certain food but test prior and after and see how it affects you and eat in moderation.

Im not diabetic myself, hubby is. I usually use the granulated sweetener to bake with, not the old type sweeteners, made me very sick, with painful joints, felt like I was getting fybromyalgia. I stopped the sweeteners and the pain cleared up. I now just use the new type sweetener, the one made from the leaf of that plant.
