A third of my weight loss goal achieved! Woo hoo!

Well done that is a substantial amount :D How's the exercise going?

Just got back in from an hours walk around the local reservoir, very blustery.Iripped my calf two weeks ago which has put paid to any 'real' exercise, so it's been minimal at best. Ithought the calf was fine till this walk, it's quite tender now. I'll start rowing tomorrow and hopefully in a couple of weeks start a walk run programme, would love to do the Great North Run this year, though that might be a little ambitious. :?

Actually I am telling a white lie, my total weight loss is 44lbs since July, it's been 26lbs since November, I wasn't even trying to lose weight over the summer, but I'm counting it in my total weight loss anyway, so there LOL

44lbs! Good work! And good luck with the rest. (I don't think you'll need it, though!)

Managed a 20 minute row no trouble from the calf at all! Was way off my 'usual' pace, (for 'usual' pace I mean a pace that I was used to when I rowed regularly 4 years ago), but I enjoyed it anyway. Aching this morning, was worried that with the carb cutting I would crash and burn fairly quickly, but I was fine energy wise. We'll have to see how that goes as hour long rows at a fairly decen pace burn loads of energy. Will be gradually building it up now, can't wait!

Doczoc - I missed that thread DOH

Just wanted to say WELL DONE - you have every reason to be proud of yourself, I know people keep saying its the forum that helped them achieve better health, but it still is a whole lot of hard work to put all the theory on here into practice, so a big pat on your back and we are all proud of you for doing so well, your post is giving hope to everyone, it shows what can be achieved.

All the best

Karen
